Hi. I was messing around with my phone and somehow created a weather folder, inside which is also my calendar app in addition to the weather app. I'm wondering how I can remove the folder and just have the calendar and weather apps listed separately. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

The easiest way would probably be to move all the apps outside of the folder, and it should automatically disappear. If you get to one of the apps, double tap and hold your finger on the screen. Then drag your finger to the left and it should drag the app outside of the folder. If there is an easier way that would be great, and if there is another way to create folders without putting apps on top of each other I would also like to know that. I want to put some apps in a folder and it won't let me do it when I try and put them on top of each other. Social apps like facebook, twitter, etc. work, but I can't put my banking and shopping apps in the same folder for some reason.

That's the only way to create folders is to drag apps on to each other, what exactly happens when you try dragging your banking app on to another one?

Hi. Okay, I was able to figure out how to move apps out of folders, but in the process of trial and error I noticed that I had created another folder and I'm not quite sure how I did this. I was thinking that it would be nice to put all the apps I don't use into their own folder and then try to move the folder off of page one, but I'm still trying to figure out if it's even possible to move apps that aren't necessarily related into a common folder. Thanks for your suggestions, though. They're much appreciated.

It just moves it back to where it was before I moved it.

A suggestion is to create a folder with apps that allow you to do so, then move your banking apps in to it. You can then take apps that don't belong out of the folder. You should be able to group unrelated apps, I have been using folders for a while and one has a whole mix of apps that i use most often so I keep that folder in my dock.
